Adding a coaching type

If you're an instructor, you can set your availability which will allow users to book coaching slots with you. You must be either a venue owner or be part of a venue team (contact a venue owner who can invite you) to be able to add coaching slots.

Step-by-step guide

To add a coaching type, go to the coaching page and find Add

1. Setup

You will need to add the basic details of your coaching type. The fields available are:

• Name: The name of your coaching type - e.g XC lesson

• Description: A description of your coaching type.

• Facility: Select the facility where you will host your coaching session. Linking ensures that the facility doesn't get double booked.

2. Cost

• Cost: The cost of your coaching. This gets added on to the facility hire cost in your user's basket, giving you control on how you want to split it e.g base cost is £20 and to add a lesson is an additional £20.

3. Terms & conditions

It's important to enter any specific terms and conditions you may have so that your entrants can accept them before booking. For example if you require people to arrive 15 mins early.

Once you've completed the above steps, choose Add coaching and your coaching type will appear in the list! To set your availability, click the coaching type you just created.

Adding availability

Once you're on the page of the coaching type you created, you can set your availability by choosing Edit in the availability panel.

You will be presented with a calendar to add your opening times. You can select multiple dates, and some fields will appear for you to set for these dates.

• Available from: The time you wish to open on this date - this will be the first allowed slot booking.

• Until: The time you wish to close on this date - the last allowed slot booking will be calculated from this and the arrival time, so if you set allow arrivals every 1 hour and you've set 5pm as your closing time, then the last available slot will be at 4pm.

• Allow arrivals every: The length of your booking slots, e.g 15 mins or an hour. This will then generate all the slots available for these dates.

• Max bookings per slot: Limit the amount of people who can book onto each slot.

Once done, click Sync calendar and the dates will turn green. You can also choose more dates and repeat the same process.

Once you've synced the calendar, scroll down and click Save and your coaching slot will now appear in the "Facilities" tab on the venue page.
